Melia Koh Samui

Nice resort right next to the beach with everything you would expect and everything else you might need in walking distance or a short ride away.

The apartments were very spacious and well presented. Staff were outstanding in hospitality and friendliness. Breakfast in the morning, gave a vast array for choice. The resort had many facilities highlighted by the number of swimming pools and proximity to the beach. Differently abled people may need to keep in mind. There are no lifts. We had a most enjoyable week. Would recommend a day and or night trip to Fishermans village for shopping and some great restaurants and bars.

At first I felt a bit overwhelmed with the maze of a design the hotel has done with the landscape. It felt like trying to fit in too many rooms / suites in this piece of land. Then I started to gradually find my way and enjoy the river pool going around the rooms with nice water treatments. (We booked room with pool access, would recommend those) The beach while one of the best in Koh samui , doesn’t compare to some of the nicer beaches you’ll find in other islands. The tide gets low half the day but when it’s ok it’s good for swimming. The area around the beach has a really friendly vibe with lovely restaurants by the sand for dinner or lunch and various massage places , we tried 2 spots both very good. The team at breakfast are brilliant and kind. Loved the Thai ice tea both black and green. Also loved the Thai dinner night, would highly recommend There’s also a small gym for a simple exercise and nice areas with table tennis and pool table. Overall it was a nice stay. A bit pricy when compered to the resort we stayed at in Phuket

Very good quality hotel by a clean, peaceful beach only 15 minutes away from both Chaweng and Fisherman´s village. A really nice internal "river" connected to the pool area which was also good for swimming. Excellent breakfast and a great New Year Eve´s party with really excellent food

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Melia Koh Samui, and it was an unforgettable experience. The staff at Melia Koh Samui were exceptionally friendly and attentive, ensuring that all my needs were met with a smile. The amenities, including the pool, fitness center, and spa, were top-notch and added to the overall relaxation and enjoyment of my stay. The dining options, particularly Koko Kitchen and Breeza Beach Restaurant, offered a delightful variety of international and Mediterranean dishes that were both delicious and beautifully presented. Overall, Melia Koh Samui exceeded my expectations, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious beachfront escape. I look forward to returning in the future!
